Water quality

What is water quality and how important is it for people, animals and plants?

Material water quality

We assume that our drinking water is clean and of good quality. This is partially true. The water companies that supply our water make water of excellent quality. The water company continuously measures the following parameters:

  • General parameters: pH, turbidity, oxygen content
  • Inorganic macro parameters: chloride, nitrite, total hardness
  • Inorganic micro parameters: sodium, iron, mercury, lead
  • Microbiological parameters: coliforms, enterococci
  • Organic micro parameters: amount of PAHs

Anyone in the Netherlands can look up the company that supplies their water and search for these parameters. There are a lot of parameters being measured and checked. From here on, we call these parameters the material parameters. However, there is more.

Energetic water quality

In addition to this material water quality, there is also an energetic water quality. This energetic water quality is rarely measured and controlled by anyone. Even stronger: most people don't even know that this quality measurement exists. This energetic water quality is very often poor and can lead to, the following problems:

  • Decrease in the body's resistance and immune system (also applies to plants and animals)
  • Decrease in metabolism
  • Increase in symptoms (sleep disorders, headache, intestinal complaints, fatigue, lethargy and other vague complaints)
  • Reduce the absorption of nutrients into the water for humans, animals and plants
  • Reduced discharge of toxins from the body or from a plant
  • Unwanted biofilm in pipesLime scale deposits in pipes and systems

The energetic quality in water can be measured by the following parameters:

  • Bovis value
  • Positivity of the Bovis value
  • Intention of the makers
  • The germination force
  • Negative information
  • Electromagnetic load

Minimum reference values for an energetically good quality drinking water:

Parameter Reference value
Bovis value ≥ 20.000 Bovis
Positivity of the Bovis value ≥ 9
Creators' intent ≥ 9
The Germination ≥ 9
Negative Information ≤ 1
Electromagnetic load ≤ 1

An example of a reference measurement of drinking water (near the tap in a house):

Parameter Reference value
Bovis value 16.180 Bovis
Positivity of the Bovis value 8,11
Creators' intent 8,35
The Germination 8,06
Negative Information 3,72
Electromagnetic load 4,56

The table above shows that the measured values do not meet the definition of good energetic water quality.

Unfortunately, it must be concluded that this deviating picture is measured almost everywhere in the Netherlands. Learn more about what this does to your health here.

Structure of water

Water consists of water molecules (H2O). The shape in which the water molecules are interconnected is called the structure of water. That structure of water is optimal in untouched nature. The water we drink from the tap is pumped under high pressure, is processed, is pumped through long pipes, lies in the street and in the house next to power lines, is affected by numerous (electro)magnetic fields. In summary it has gone through all kinds of non-natural influences. As a result, the natural structure deteriorates. One of the most visible problems of a deteriorated water structure is the deposition of lime scale.
